The KLH Model Four has earned a spot in Popular Science's 2026 Audio Awards, joining a selection of standout audio products recognized for their performance, innovation, and listening experience.
Featured in the Passive Speakers category, the Model Four caught the attention of Popular Science reviewer Tony Ware for its room-friendly design, impressive sound, and ability to deliver a rewarding listening experience without demanding perfect speaker placement.
Great Sound, Wherever You Listen
Not every listening space is designed with audio equipment in mind. That's where the KLH Model Four shines.
In the review, Popular Science highlights the speaker's shallow, acoustic-suspension design and sealed enclosure, which allow for more flexible placement, even in spaces where traditional ported speakers might struggle.
The Model Four brings together the midrange driver, tweeter, and crossover of the acclaimed Model Five with the 8-inch woofer of the Model Three. The result is a three-way floorstanding speaker that balances detailed sound, thoughtful engineering, and versatility.
Its three-position Acoustic Balance Control offers additional flexibility, allowing listeners to adjust the midrange and high frequencies to better complement their room's acoustics.
Classic Design Meets Everyday Listening
Beyond its acoustic performance, the Model Four brings KLH's signature mid-century modern styling into today's listening spaces. Its streamlined profile makes it a natural fit for rooms where both sound and design matter.
At $1,999 per pair, the Model Four offers an approachable entry into high-performance floorstanding audio, combining elements of KLH's celebrated speaker lineup in a design built for real homes.
We're pleased to see the Model Four recognized alongside some of the industry's most respected audio products.
